Is an absolute embarrassment. I know I know, they whooped our a$$ and most people will defer to the scoreboard as justification for their culture.
But I am SO GRATEFUL that we won our two titles the right way. Or as right as you can get in the world of college football. What's unfolding in Athens is pathetic and direct reflection of their leadership win at ALL costs.

Fully acknowledging what happened on the field.
For me personally, there are certain things that simply aren't worth results on the field. Georgia completely embodies that.

I'm sorry for the kids who love UGA and spent their entire lives working to get on that FB team but other than that, it's no skin off my rump what happens to or with UGA.

Why does that matter? Watson didn’t break any rules at Clemson

i know at least one ugag player’s parents that would have tried to steer him somewhere else if they had a choice again
maybe somewhere where a drunk staffer wouldn’t murder him in a university rental
nice big jawja flag on the front porch of the school shooter too in the body cam vid
dad pounding a beer on the porch
filth

Mentioning the flag on the front porch of the school shooters house is wrong.

It sounds like you are trying to say that UGA bears some responsibility for what happened, or that being a Georgia fan somehow contributed to the shooting.
If so, are you also linking Clemson to Deshaun Watson and his supposed actions against women? Because that is similar logic.

If they would just provide driving classes for the new recruits. Since your post, there’s been another uga player arrested for speeding 100+.

If Clemson had beaten UGA on August 31, that's what you'd be pounding your chest about. That game didn't go as you had hoped - probably by a long shot, so this is what you're left with. I've posted about the ongoing issues with reckless driving stuff. Kirby is responsible to stop it. It's embarrassing for the program but more importantly, it's dangerous. Two players have been kicked off the team over the past few months. Kirby suspended Etienne for the Clemson game (remember all the angst here about that?).
It's an issue and he needs to fix it but let's not pretent you really care about that anymore than you do graduation rates. You want your team to win football games.

College Football is now a professional sport that is affiliated with a University. While I am proud that Clemson players graduate, it does not mean what it once did. The pitch of “you will get a degree from a respected school” is now a corporate benefit that could be part of a brand known for developing players on and off the field and used as such for recruiting. As for UGAs car problems, I do think Kirby takes that seriously because it would be a problem for an NFL team as well. He will punish those kids at a minimum because the behavior is detrimental to meeting his goals as a football team.
