I don’t think you’re getting accurate info. I know his family pretty well. I would bet my house he will not flip to anyone including the chickens. He’s Clemson 100%

Yes. They already removed him from the list. I think we were at #17 before he decommitted, now #22.

Still. No time to panic in my mind anyway. It doesn't help you get the player back and it doesn't look good. With the portal being so prevalent, I think it's leaving really good players looking for homes in lower-tier football programs. With the scholarship limit going to 105; this might change. For right this moment though; I think very underrated players can still be found out there. Only so many players can be listed as 4-star and 5-star - Hopefully, people recognize that. If every year you had 600 4-star players would it matter as much? No. It would be watered down.
The fact of the matter is; there is plenty of subjectivity to the star rating system. Cam Ward was an "UNRANKED" player! Unranked and enrolled at Incarnate Word. And now, many consider him the front runner for the Heisman trophy - which is supposed to be the best college football player.
The examples in the NFL of players who were not highly rated "are staggering"! I feel like - given this coaching staffs track record with lower rated players others overlooked - "it hurts, but we will be okay"!

Cha-ching...
Perhaps we should view this as a positive. The kid presents as a hired gun, a mentality that has imploded multiple programs across the country. We have fielded a better product with proven results. Dabo's recruiting philosophy weeds out the weak - the kids that are looking for a buck, rather than the opportunity to become the best version of themselves don't belong at Clemson. We need kids that will buy in to the program, rather than being bought themselves, and allow the killer staff that we have to coach them as hard as it takes to unleash their full potential.
Have to see the bigger picture of earned draft stock and long term added value. That said, hard to beat a 'Winn-Dixie grocery bag full of money' - a dream most of these kids have been bombarded with since they were born.

POTD. Yep! If a kid isn't "ALL IN" then: Bye.
No need of crying over spilled milk as the saying goes. You march on and you do so with the best you have to offer. Clemson is not NIL poor; but Clemson is not about to play that game with these recruits. The kids will end up losing in the end; because next year a new hottest thing ever will come out and they will be offered even more money at that same kids position. The pressure to play the higher rated kid will only increase on the coaching staff. If a kid if offered and offered a NIL deal from Clemson and agrees. That should be it. You mean to tell me the school they are headed to didn't offer that large sum prior to them choosing Clemson. Maybe not.
I can see the name of the game moving forward with the roster limit of 105; being "Keep Away"! I'll pay you to stay away from the competition. A kid that's all about the money may be easily fooled into not putting anything on video for the NFL if the money is good enough. That said; because most people think these kids will still want to play. I just don't know if that part is most important to many of these kids. Especially the ones who decommit.
