Even though he posts sideways pics and has a coot running buddy, he is one of the interesting TigerNet posters probably because he shares more and is a true Clemson fan while being hospitable to opposing fans. He seems to be a hard worker with good hobbies, fishing and running, though i've often wondered how a successful realtor could spend so much time traveling and fishing.
Spud is one of the few TigerNet posters who posts pics of his ugly mug sideways or not. And who doesn't like a good fishing story and stories of interactions with a good friend that is a coot lol. And Spud seems to have that sophisticated redneck personality that Jeff Foxworthy talks about. And though i've never met him, he seems like a friendly guy and a solid Christian guy and family man from some of his stories.
So though i'm not as much of a beer drinker as I was 20+ years ago, here's a Bud for Spud, a true Clemson man and fan which we should celebrate while we're picking each other apart. Amen.

I always read a Spud poast, in fact the regulars are my favorite part of Tnet and a big reason why I check in almost daily.
Sure, some new poaster like the Weslichick gal will pop on the scene like a shooting star, but they flame out quickly. Spud is like the old North Star! Someone teach me how to include Spud’s tag in this thread.

Just start typing the @ symbol, followed by their username to add them to the Mentions portion of your poast.
You following this thread, Spud?

remind me of a friend, who once told me that when he committed his life to Christ at 8 or 9 years old, his father, a stern man himself, walked up to him and said,"Congratulations son, you just made a great decision...I hope you can live up to it".
WHen I first got on Tnet many years ago, I blasted a few people that I did not agree with. But, once I posted my picture on here, I began to post more like I act in public. Even when you completely disagree with someone, you don't go nuclear on them. No sir, you state your opinion respectfully. Or, you prepare for the consequences.
Thanks for the compliments. And let me say this, I fish and run and workout, etc. But, you don't see me when I just loaded my boat and get 3 miles from the house, and my phone rings, and the person on the other end says,"Yeah Spud, we just got a contract on our home in North Carolina and we saw your sign on a home that we would like to see". And I say,"Where are you now?". And they say,"In the driveway". And I say,"Hold on,I'll be there is 20 minutes...." I al2ways say the best thing about my business that I have been in for 38 years is that I can go fishing, take my wife to a movie,go running, go to the range, whenever I want. The worst things is that I can go whenever I want. But, you better know when you can and when you can't...

I work on the day as well.Been selling since ‘88. Straight commission since ‘99. I enjoy many of the same freedoms that you do. But you hit big picture square in the mouth with your last sentence.

I call him a great friend, and it all started thanks to Tigernet. He’s a great family man, great morals and values, and he out kicked his coverage with his tricking his wife into marrying him a long time ago. I’ll have a Bud for OL’ Spud any day. He’s a great Tiger!!!

Spud maybe getting up there in age, but I'm betting he's never lying down when he catches some of the fish he's shown to us here on T-Net, H&11, some of those side ways pictures weighed 5 pounds!!!

You have never done the research on what a good realtor is capable of making with just one sale of another person's property. It's usually more than most of have made in a month working for someone else, and that's a fact!!!
My sister-in-law is a realtor, and she make enough money for her and my brother-in-law to go on vacation a few times a year, and the only thing that my brother-in-law does, is patch up properties that she buys before they put them up for sale. They have been doing this for over 20 years, and they are now well off!!! Most of the time when buying or selling another person's property is very lucrative. And those realtor people are very good at keeping those details a very well kept secret!!!!
