Been subsisting on men's Olympic volleyball and table tennis and Law & Order reruns and don't debate me on which Law & Order era was better. It's obvious it was seasons 10-15, the Lenny Briscoe/Ed Green years.

By the time football gets here on Aug. 31 because I don't acknowledge that lame week zero FSU/GaTech kerfuffle in Ireland on the 24th, I'm going to be frothing at the mouth.

One night my sister and I got into a big argument over what we were going to watch on TV and I called her a f ing biotch, that was a huge mistake on my part bc she hit me so hard that I hit the floor, she almost knocked me out bc I was really dizzy when I was trying to get up.

If I learned anything about my big sister that night, I learned to never make the mistake of disrespecting her by calling that terrible name. I also learned that it would be best for me if I only called her by the name that my mom and dad gave her bc I also learned that she had a h e l l of a punch. Bless her heart she's in Heaven now, but that Gif brought that memory back of that night over 55 years ago, and that memory is still pretty vivid...<img border=">">

No doubt Green and Briscoe were the best. I say this as I sit here and watch SVU with my wife.

And yes, August 31 can’t get here soon enough.
