When we were kids and would go “up home” to stay with my Grandmother in Honea Path, us kids would sleep in rooms upstairs…unheated but under a ton of blankets. To this day I love to sleep in a cold room!

as I had enough of that over a three year span while on overseas military duty.
Also, I run a fan every night for the noise. lol
|

Never had that problem where they sent me. And that made me dislike overly warm bedrooms as well.
