and let that kid learn on the field. He might have a fairly good QB next season. If he continues to recruit QBs from the portal he will never recruit a top QB from high school.

That is a snowballing effect which Dabo absolutely refuses to allow to happen here and most of us who understand are the silent majority of fans. I'm an exception.

DJ's best preparation for the NFL draft;

Get a big screen TV for his apartment

Buy enough chips and dip for those 3 days

On day 4 work on his BoJangles resume

They should start playing their actual recruits. It's evident that the guns for hire were not who they needed for whatever reason. The season is toast, break in those sophomores and freshman recruits which were top 15 classes. Show improvement and move away from the NIL/transfer portal being your claim to fame.

Norvell should have rolled with who he had but he got portal greedy and now he's run most of his QBs off and is stuck with DJ.
