For your sake please don’t underestimate

The value BV brought to this program. Yes Dabo is without a doubt the guy, and yes he hired Brent Venables. But Brent Venables has been the BEST coach by FAR since he was brought in staff. He has the best game plans, makes the best adjustments, changes his scheme to the personnel, develops great players, and has an amazing knack for calling the game.
This doesn’t mean that Dabo won’t make the perfect hire again for the time. What it means is that with our struggles this year we may have tougher climb back to the top without BV. Trust Dabo to do what he does but don’t think that losing BV is no big deal. This is a very big deal. Without his D this year we could be a 4 -6 win team.

How can you understatement the letter "V" which stands for value. As much as anybody I hate to see Brent leave ,but I do believe Dabo will make the right hire. A bigger concern is what does Dabo do on the offensive side of the ledger.

Everyone can be replaced. This is called life. You either deal with it or sulk about it like babies.

That is true for the worker class. The management class is entirely different. Teams and businesses rise and fall with the wrong hire. The average nobody making 20 bucks an hour is replaceable in hours.

That Sir was well said. Not much to add. It's NOT a Nick Saban situation. As for 4-6. At best with all the injuries.
I would add, we'll miss his recruiting the most. On both sides of the ball. Kids loved his passion and charisma. Irreplaceable. Thanks for the post. I've been TD'd for a week as hand wrangling. But this is why.

Agree 100% and why we can’t miss with a new DC. Brent won’t be here next year to bail out our inept offense. We need to seriously upgrade some assistants on that side as well.

I don't think people under estimate coach V's value, but realize you can't sit in a corner and cry about something out of your control......thats not the Clemson way and dammm sure not Dabo's way.
I'm happy for coach V, and appreciate everything he has done but absolutely believes the show will go on!

Pretty sure I said as much about Dabo in my original post… glad you got crying out of it though? Seems like your reading comprehension is right on track.

I am also happy for coach V . He waited for the right opportunity, no doubt he is and has been a major reason for our success. He will be missed but we have no choice to believe in Dabos next man up !!

Who the heck says Dabo is married to us? Once this goes down the tubes and Saban retires we could be looking to replace him

I dont think Alabama would want Dabo at all. They will probably throw money at a big name with NFL experience that can recruit. I know a lot of people that are Alabama fans that laugh at the idea.

Sorry, but I’m not worried about BV leaving…

There are plenty of great DC’s out there who would like to be the highest paid in CFB. The only time you’ll see me panic is if Dabo is leaving.

defense is still loaded, RB is loaded, OL improved when they could finally start the same 5 guys, WR hopefully won't all be hurt again.
Fix QB.
