Florida Atlantic should not have called

Those two time outs. Screwed up their flow. Could have driven to basket scored and been fouled. Game over.

FAU was up by one point. THEY did NOT need to score. They only needed to run the clock down until SDSU decided to foul.

FAU shot was too early; left too much time for SDSU. Too bad...

I don’t think SDSU would have fouled. I think there was a 7 second difference.

Right … FAU shot too early.

FAU could have stood at mid court and thrown the ball high and straight up … just get it out of their hands before the shot clock expired. By the time it came down (missed the shot) only a second or less would be there for San Diego State.

This is incorrect, there was at least a 7 second difference in the game clock and shot clock.
