all they can do is travel with the ball and run into the defender to get the foul. THey also do a lot of grabbing on defense.

No. FSU has a smaller endowment than Clemson. I think a lot of people forget that they didn’t go coed until the 1940s. They’ve way overspent on coaches with negative returns. A lot of schools athletic programs are going to enter a death spiral if there aren’t guard rails put on NIL and the portal.
But, I think Leonard Hamilton is more a product of simply not being adept at using the portal and wanting to deal with the bs that goes with it. They exacerbate each other but the portal rules are a bigger problem than NIL itself. Knowing you’re gonna have to renegotiate with your entire team AND recruit high schoolers AND work the portal is more than some of these coaches want to deal with.

He has not had a very good run as of late. This seems like a “put out to pasture”move given his inability to field a competitive squad. He had a great comeback at Wake, but their team looked lost today.
