Probably - crazy how hard it is pass other teams, I figure we can get Auburn in the next 6 years? But can we ever catch LSU?

If we average 5 more wins than Tennessee, we can pass them in 18 years!!

going to the PCT% column and ranking starting from lowest and seeing who is 6th worst all time.

The way things are headed, they could dip back under .500 in a a few more years.

My money is on Michigan. They will more than likely hit 1000 in 4 years. Averaging 9 wins per season will get them there in 4 years. (prior to last year, they won 9, 10, 8, 10, 10 which is greater than a 9 win average).

Bama and Ohio State can't reach 1000 wins in the next 4 years. Assuming playoff is expanded in 2023, the max they could get to in 4 years is 991 & 993 respectively. That would accomplished with 4 perfect seasons, so the actual number will likely be 3-6 less wins for each of them.

This puts them almost an entire season worth of wins behind Michigan, so it would pretty much take Michigan averaging 7 wins or less over the next 4 years, for them to not be the first team to 1000 wins.

just think how much closer we could be if things were done differently after Frank to 1977. !974 was the only good season and we were only 6-4. Red tried hard and Hootie was a joke.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Actually, we were 7-4 in 1974. We had the "undefeated

home season" at 6-0. The only team we beat on the road was Weak Florist.

Yes, Hootie was a joke, a very bad one. The Tiger Paw came about during his tenure, but even that he didn't have much to do with.
