My thinking is, when would the Clemson Tigers EVER have a chance to play in a game of this magnitude against the mighty Texas Longhorns in Austin?
Back in the early 90s, I lived in Austin for 4 years. I liked Texas and enjoyed the people and state parks, but yearned to be back home in the Carolinas.
My expectation for the Clemson football team has always been that they MUST be able to credibly compete with any college football team in the country, even if they lose the scoreboard. I expect them to at least compete and not get boat raced.
Do I think that the Tigers can beat Texas? Yes, I do. Do I think that they will beat Texas? No, but me and my family will be there to see what happens, cheering the Tigers and Austin’s native son, CK2, with all I have left in me.
IF the Tigers do beat the Longhorns, I’m not saying how it happens, but Bevo may have a NEW score branded on his rump, with a Clemson Paw right next to it.
