I've been playing the new CFB game on my PS5. I've tried multiple times to play UGA just on the regular Varsity difficulty, but I'm finding it impossible to compete with them. My OL gets DESTROYED on every single play...like they're not even there. CK has no time to do ANYTHING. UGA DBs blanket every receiver so well that on the rare occasion CK can get a pass off, almost all of them get picked.
I'm not a newbie to this. I played every release of NCAA Football EA came out with back in the day, and I won my fair share of national championships. In this new game, I don't care if I lose to UGA, but I would like to at least have a chance to compete. I'm almost to the point that I'm done with this game and consider it wasted money. Is anyone else having this experience with the new game?

I beat them by 60+ every time on the hardest setting in Death Valley and Athens, can’t help ya.

This exactly. OL blocking is broken on that game. Especially on all American and heisman. They expect you do by pressing L1 or R1, I can’t remember which button off the top of my head.

I'm not an expert, but did play all the old games. I am doing an online dynasty with some family and I have Nevada 13-0 on All-American difficulty. The key is to use a lot of gimmicks/underneath passes and RPO's.
On defense try to be a safety/LB and read what's going to happen to the best of your ability. Passing is vastly different than the old games and the CPU secondary is ridiculous. But like another person said, sliders can help a lot.

and use 10 offensive linemen. I pretty much score on every play, the game is far too easy.

I play on heisman. I have the opposite problem. I can score on every drive. I can’t get a stop on defense. When i play UGA it’s always 45-42 type game. I do feel the game cheats. I was beating UGA 14-0. I got a stop. My first play on offense Mafah fumbles from a simple tackle. They score. Next kick off Stellato fumbles on the kick return. They score again. It lets you get no momentum.

I was up by 2 scores in the 4th and then they get a kick off return for a TD and then a pick 6. Won in 2 overtimes but they make you play with the opposite of momentum.

Played them 3 times in my 4 years of a Clemson dynasty, lost to them in the first season but have beaten them both times since. Not sure if Georgia isn’t recruiting great talent or if I’m getting better but I’ve handled them well
