Yea the Alliance was broken from within. So as others have pointed out there really was not one.

Sounded good but if the alliance stayed in tack and the SEC kept adding teams (which there would not have been many they could have added if the alliance stayed as it was) for the purpose of a big payday it would have collapsed anyways.

This move essentially stated emphatically that there is no longer an Alliance. Every conference is on their own now. It will be survival of the fittest from here out. This move also motivates the SEC more to destroy the current CFB model as we know it. Buckle in, it is going to be one heck of a ride from here.

Only fools ever saw this sham Alliance as anything other than a SEC ball buster, it failed miserably and died a quick death.
Designed to buy time while the PAC attempted to get reborn, the ACC to block being raided and the BiG time to sweep up the dissatisfied gems.
None of the three key players ever intended fort to be real or binding.
