He looked like a full-grown man when he arrived 4 years ago but was pushed around early on. He certainly has some size at 6'5 320. I could not find many highlights of him, but you can see his improvement in 2022. He looked impressive by the end of last season but played sparingly behind Orhorhoro. He had a couple of sacks and a forced fumble last year with around 60 snaps.

I am curious to see how much of a role he plays, I am assuming the coaches are sold on him if they are rotating Woods, as if they are going to find a way to put their best guys out there.

This 2022 footage does not do him any justice, but you could see the improvement later in the reel as he made more plays behind the LOS.

A "gurus" said he can "flash dominance, but is inconsistent with his technique, athleticism for his size is undeniable"

Overwhelming power at the point of attack, consistently displacing blockers with explosive initial punch
Exceptional two-gapping ability, stonewalling double teams and anchoring against the run
Impressive athleticism for his size, showcasing good pad level and vertical burst as a pass rusher
Heavy-handed striker who consistently knocks offensive linemen off balance
Alignment versatility, capable of playing all along the defensive line
Consistently plays with good leverage, getting hands under blockers' pads to uproot them
Freakish ability to shed blocks, often tossing linemen to the ground
Collapses the pocket with a powerful bull rush, creating interior pressure

The way the Tigers rotate the DL, hopefully it's his time to dominate every play he's in the game.

Would love to see Capehart play his way into an early round draft pick thiis year. He showed flashes last year of dominance. See Notre Dame and NC games last year. He's a fifth year senior so his time is now. Go be great Demonte!! And Go Tigers!!

Well said! We haven't seen the freshmen in action, but they will get some snaps. I'm excited about a rotation of Capehart, Page, and Williams. We need Williams to stay healthy!

We also need Burley and Green to get into the mix.

We definitely need some guys to step up at DT. T Davis was a 4 year starter and Ruke developed into an NFL DT/DE. Both look great in pre-season so far. Staff must have confidence with Woods moving outside. Capeheart may not have had the motor needed to be consistent. This is his year to shine.

I think he has the potential to be dominant!

You can see what the coots approach is to stopping him on their lone TD against us last season! He was horse collared around the throat and nothing was called!
