Posted this on another thread, but so it does not get lost. Here is our record for the past 10 seasons under Venables, when leading by 1 score and needing a stop.

Leadi­ng by 1 Possession needing a Stop

2012-(1-0)
Wins- Auburn

2013- (1-0)
Wins- Ohio State

(Georgia 1 Score game, but we let up a score in the final minutes and defense never saw field again.

2014- (2-0)
Wins - Louisville, Boston College

2015- (2-0)
Wins - Louisville, Notre Dame
(South Carolina UNC both 1 possession games, but we let up a score in the final minutes and defense never saw the field again)

2016- (5-1)
Wins - Auburn, Louisville, NC State, FSU, Va Tech
Loss- Pitt
(Troy and Alabama 1 score games, but we let up a score in final minutes and defense never saw the field again)

2017- (2-0)
Wins- Auburn, NC State

2018-(2-0)
Wins- Texas A&M, Syracuse


2019-(2-0)
Wins- UNC, Ohio State


2020-(1-1)
Wins- Boston College
Loss- Notre Dame

2021 (6-1)
Wins- Georgia Tech, Boston College, Syracuse, FSU Louisville
Loss- NC State

Total Record 23-3

Exclusion- 2014 FSU, 2015 Alabama, 2021 Georgia Did not fit Criteria as we did not have the lead
