Let me say first of all the Dawgs have had a very good season up to this point and may end up winning the Natty that has alluded them since 1980. But, when you look at their season, who have they beat. Clemson 10-3 on a pick 6, the other East SEC teams that had no defense. The coots, Vandy, UF, Auburn, Arkansas, Missouri, and Kentucky (which may be the best of the East SEC teams they played).

The Dawgs have a very good team but when you break it down there is one very important part that they are missing, an elite QB. Don’t get me wrong I love their #13 QB. He represents what college football should be about just like our #13 Hurter Renfrow. The team that wins the Natty will usually have an elite QB along with a great defense. Just look at the teams that have won the Natty since the CFP started. I do think their #13 is a very good QB but is he Elite. Their Defense will need to play much better to win the Natty than they did against Bama.
