Dabo will change his problem has ALWAYS been slow to change

We have all seen this many times over the years with Dabo, the Kelly Bryant QB situation......although ultimately it never hurt us, we won the title that year, but we all know the only reason Kelly was named starter that year was because he was a senior and Dabo wanted to pander to him......then Kelly threw him under the bus and transferred to Mizzo anyway

Then it was kind of the same with DJ.....Dabo very adamantly defended him (as if he were his own son) and alienated the fan base who clearly saw he just didn't have it, but Dabo kept trying to distract us with random platitudes like "this guy wants it more than anybody trust me" "this guy cares"......the bottom line is DJ also transferred and has proven to not be a good qb.....therefore fans were right again.

As far as the coach's go we all know he hires friends or former players with very little sometimes no experience and he only fires them AFTER it is apparent to all it has reached dumpster fire levels, Streeter and the OL coach Austin as examples.

His whole philosophy and stance one NIL an portal, reminds me very much of the DJ situation in that he seems very very adamant that we ( the fans) are all wrong, and he will "prove" it to us by going against the grain until the tires fall off. I really do hope he stops this foolish and really pointless stance he has, i dont know if he's trying to prove something to the world or college football by showing he's the last good guy in the sport, but it's kind of coming at clemsons expense.

What we the fans want is very simple and very reasonable. focus on a handful maybe 3-5 starter quality people from the portal...and yes you may have to pay/ also remove the self imposed restriction of not paying top recruits initially. it really is that simple
