Can we go ahead and admit how huge it was for Coach Swinney to bring Thomas Austin into the fold once again , to give him the reigns of the OL and have him hard at work on the recruiting trail?
Austin looks for all the world like he's one of those guys kids get drawn to when they're considering who or where they want to play college football.
These 3 OL in the last month are all studs...at least on paper.
Hats off to Coach Swinney and Coach Austin !

Thomas has been a breath of fresh air as far as OL recruiting. But we have to see him develope plus let’s not act like Dabo is batting 1000% in hires. Tyler Grisham and CJ have not carried their weight yet

Coach Austin is killing it on the recruiting trail. The true test comes this fall, will we see improved o-line play under Coach TA? My guess is a yes!

He did a great job turning around the OL at Georgia State. I think he will do great at Clemson.

You can say Spiller has not shown us anything yet in recruiting but I thought the running backs were the best group last year.

Recruiting is one thing---development is another. Let's pump the brakes a little and see if we are able to develop this talent into depth.
One thing that concerns me already, is we recruited the #1 center in the country (Linthicum) and he's #2 on the depth chart behind Putnam......

Putnam is a 4-star Senior. You don't see many freshmen come in and take a spot from someone like that, especially on the OL where experience and familiarity is so critical.
