a football program than any of you.
Yes, our football program is not currently championship, elite level. Yes, It's frustrating and disappointing. Yes, we lose some games we sould win, and look terrible in the process.
Winning at an elite level in college football, and doing so with honesty and integrity is extremely difficult. Dabo has proven he can do that, over time. It's only because of him that we have such high expectations. Dabo isn't perfect. He makes mistakes like everybody. And he still knows a gazillion times more about coaching and running a football program than anybody in here.

While I have to concede that Dabo knows more than myself and more than likely anyone on here, none of us are being paid 11 million a year to do so. No amount to brow beating and comparing us to him changes the fact that Dabos program is horrible and getting worse every year

All coaches do. Dabo knows a gazillion times more than those others coaches do about winning championships. Look at his trophy case. The only problem is his accomplishments are from a time that does not exist anymore.
I think the question now is this. If Dabo is ready to play ball again and do what it takes to win, who will catch him up to the new ways? Does actually know anything about NIL and portal competition? Can he identify players from others schools he wants and reach out to them and make an offer? Same for recruiting. There have been 5 players to decommit already. It’s amazing any good players would come here for free, or anywhere for that matter.

I don't disagree with your comments but having said that, I also don't think, when college football gets turned on its head, you can just stick with what worked in the past. Change and grow or become extinct. I don't think we can expect it to be any different for us.
We may think we are special, but we aren't so special to think our way works without the need to adapt.

Dabo is a good leader, motivator and recruiter. He is not a good at Xs and Os or game management.

The Clemson Football Progam is like a once a five star restaurant where the owner and head chef got complacent, didn’t change the menu with the times and is now a 2 or 3 star restaurant where attendance has declined, the meals are hit or miss, and the competition is cleaning their clock. The restaurant either needs a complete overhaul to reflect the current marketplace, sell to someone who will restore it to its prior status and understands how to operate a restaurant in 2024 or just shut the doors and go out of business. That is where our program is.
