over the past four years Dabo's had a lot of issues to fix.......

He has "slowplayed" some of them and "rolled the dice" on some uncalled for hires that were DOOMED from the get go..........seen by most fans that could remove their orange glasses. However.........FINALLY it seems that MOST if not all (as long as he's willing to continue/not stop w/ the portal acquisitions) the issues have been checked. It's been a long unbearable 4 years watching wasted potential, but the recipe is FINALLY back to get back to ELITE. It may or may not be next year (looks promising), but if all of these stick and he doesn't let us get behind the times again we should be in good shape.

-QB and/or development.......................needs to continue
-WR and/or development.......................needs to continue
-overall talent at the offensive skill positions...........need an elite RB, but overall solid right now
-OL and/or development...................................Luke was a great hire
-unqualified OC in relation to caliber of program...........redeemed himself from the botched BS hire
-unqualified DC in relation to caliber of program............likely redeemed himself from the botched WG hire
-execute in the portal for impact players...............good start (I've always said we need 3-5 to supplement each year)
-open to NIL for keeping AND OBTAINING players from all available resources.........he finally realizes that you can recruit the portal w/ the same standards as HS.

Dabo now still has the most CFP wins with 6. Kirby Smart has 5, and lost.

Dabo now has 9 conference championships, with 10 division titles (won’t increase anymore). That’s by far the most. Next is Kirby with 3 conference championships.

It’s hard to boast about the future when you can’t figure out Georgia. And you lose to South Carolina twice in a row at home.

But with the willingness to open up to the portal for needed positions and extra depth, the receivers we have, a QB like Cade, and a great new defensive coordinator that could complete the puzzle..

I could see a stretch that could be nearly as good as 2015-2020. Maybe the same. Maybe better.

Portal use has not been the primary issue. The primary issue has been Dabo's unwillingness to use NIL for players not on the team meaning not using it for HS or portal recruits.

Homework: Plot a graph based on our final ranking or number of wins per season for Dabo's tenure. You will see a downward trend which is the basis of the narrative
