We were listening to Dr. David Jeremiah's (California) sermon this morning on TV at 9:30 AM, and he started off by talking about DABO - his youth, accepting Christ, his going to Alabama, his being at Clemson w/ 2 national championships, etc. Center of his sermon was on believing, with DABO being a good example. Lot of good pub for Clemson, too.

Saw it this morning for the second time. It first aired about a year ago. Watch his programs Sundays and some during the week. His son Daniel is an NFL analyst.

Go to www.DavidJeremiah.org. Today's program is on the first screen. The background is Memorial Stadium for his beginning comments.

Praise the Lord. Did not hear it but have watched Dr. Jeremiah many times . Great to know Dabo is glorifying God in his life. That was the main purpose of humanity. Dabo is doing his part. Will we do ours? I’ll take Dabo and a few losses over Nattys from the crooked behavior of so many of the others. God will want to know from all coaches someday. How did you get your victories?

Went on line and listened to his reference about Dabo and Clemson U showing Death Valley in the background. That was amazing. We just don’t know how fortunate we are to have Dabo. God put him in this position knowing Clemson would allow him to express his faith here. Unfortunately there are not many Universities that would allow their coach to express his faith. I am very thanking for Clemson allowing this expression. As you can see God has blessed not only this University but the entire commission. Did you ever in your life think you would see such growth at the University snd the entire community.

saddened by your remark and/or feelings (free country though) but don’t think GOD nor JESUS would feel the same way.

He is doing a fine job. What’s that have to do with sharing your testimony and trying to live a life that glorifies His creator. Strange take but to each their own good luck to you!

I will pray for you TRK1!
Romans8:38-39:
38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[a] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

obviously he's been doing a great job. What does this preacher's sermon have to do with Dabo not doing his job?

Dabo highlighted in a Dr. Jeremiah book

In the book Forward, Dabo's story is told at the beginning of a chapter on Believe. Said he spent some time with him and went away feeling Dabo was one of the most positive people he had ever met.
It is a good book. I encourage you to read it. Especially if you feel stuck in life or know others who might feel that way.
