Could the Wesco pass be the turning point play of the season?

Yes it’s early but think about it. The first two plays of the game were more like the Georgia game and the crowd was ready to pounce if we went 3 and out.
If Klubnik misses that pass or the route is slightly off and leads to an incompletion, the whole tenor and atmosphere of the stadium immediately gets negative and could have affected Cade throughout the rest of the game. And possibly even the rest of the season.
It was that important imo

I believe so. This offense has been desperately in need of a spark. The Wesco TD provided the spark and boosted the entire offenses confidence. Having legitimate deep threats and ability to take the top of a defense opened up Riley's scheme. It also seems that he is in full control of the play calling. Do we know if they are using the in helmet radio with Cade now that it is legal in CFB?

Actually doing it in a game instead of practice gives a whole different level of confidence. They should now believe they can do it in each game because it has been proven. They proved they were capable of having a fantastic output

if not that play, the check Cade made to the Post route that resulted in a TD for Antinio Williams.

Think that one as well. All Cade on that one.

I think it was definitely an important moment. Cade needed that play, the coaches needed that play, and the fans especially needed that play. The energy in the stadium was insane after that catch. Cade has always had the talent to do what he did that night and it was great to see him reminded of it. Wesco and Moore will also push that WR room to be better. Look at Turner who played an amazing game coming off of the bench. Competition breeds success and there’s going to be no more room for lack of production. They’re either going to produce or get left behind.

I think it was the scoreboard at the whistle of the previous game.***

Wasn’t busted coverage he literally ran past everybody and Cade threw a perfect ball right over top the enclosing safety

Something we haven’t seen in a long time, and yes may have been a spiritual turning point for this team . And Wesco giving me some Sammy Watkins vibes. Love it!
