Could Clemson and Georgia be two best teams in college baseball?

I know it is premature, but the early results are quite positive for both teams. Two best teams in America may be 70 miles apart.
Planning on coming to the Georgia and Clemson game this season in Clemson (only playing one time this year in regular season) and that will be a TOUGH TICKET.
Georgia has made improvements at Foley Field, but it is extremely small and seats less than 4,000. Makes NO sense to me that UGA (I think) has the smallest stadium in the SEC. Ticket demand is such that for SEC series the scalpers have a field day.
Really like college baseball and Dawgs and Tigers may be playing each other a few times this year, hopefully both in Omaha!

Hopefully the umpires learn what a HR is this year.

Never expect the umpires to learn anything that would benefit Clemson!!!

Amazing to me how mediocre UGA has been historically in baseball

given the fact that the Atlanta metro area has had some of the best baseball in the country.
Back before recruiting was national, you would've thought UGA would be more of a power. I guess it just wasn't really emphasized. Always shocking to me.

UGA basketball has been the worst basketball team in the SEC in the last 50 years. Nothing is going to change!
I hope I am wrong, but I have seen it decade after decade after decade!

I watched Arkansas a bit this year and I’d say there are five teams that seem to have no holes in their lineup. Clemson, Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Wake. I have to tip my cap to Wake. They are better than their record. A surprise team for me is Georgia Tech! Keep an eye on those guys!

We are good and getting better, but we for sure have some holes in our lineup. we are not close to Arkansas, Tenn, or Uga at the plate right now. we have to find better starting pitching to compete with these guys. we have several guys not producing at the plate , and hopefully that changes. Arkansas and Tenn and UGA have way more power also, and that is hard to beat. We need another quality starter like Knaak to make a serious run this year. look at the batting averages for Tenn, UGA , and arkansas. wow!!

that Clemson is a team that has no holes in their lineup. The weekend starting rotation has been shaky at times (due in part to some lingering injuries), and a couple of players who were expected to be major contributors at the plate are struggling a bit right now.

I guess anything is possible.. Clemson starts off well most every year, and at 23-3 we are doing well again...but we will see what we are made of as the season progresses into the ACC ... I don't know much about UGA? Their Record and season challenges? Go Tigers!!

We're not going to be on that level unless we land on a third weekend starter.

Arkansas scored a lot of runs against the gamecocks over the weekend.

It is always better for sports when both Clemson and Georgia

are at the top of their sport, football/baseball/basketball (basketball is not much of an issue as Clemson has NO history of much at all).
Concern right now for Tigers, starting pitching behind our ace Knaak. These last 2 games the starters put our Tigers in big holes (10-0 and 6-0, lost 12-10 and won 7-6 in those games).
Should be a very well attended and exciting mid-week baseball game....enjoy the game Dawg
