who said this has been in the works for a few weeks after the Capons came-up with more NIL money than Tennessee was willing/able to offer. While the coaching changes at Tennessee were a factor but (albeit a minor one), regardless of what anyone else says, this ultimately boiled down to money.

Blowing their load early. Still won't finish in the top 10. They think they're stealing another Hyatt or something, taking these in state kids. We'll pick and choose ours from S.C. while getting the majority of the talent from GA, FL, N.C. and others. S.C. hasn't produced top tier talent like they have in the past.
