Cooper Ingle update

Clemson coach Monte Lee said on The Roar 105.5 just now that Cooper Ingle was cleared to return to the lineup as a designated hitter for tonight versus BC (6 p.m.).

Ingle has been out since having to leave last week's game with the College of Charleston early due to injury.

Ingle ranks second on the team in slugging percentage (.531) and walks (33) and third in batting average (.351) and RBIs (39).

Great news. Now we might beat them 25-2 instead of 20-2. A Clemson sweep is the lock of the week for you betting folk. Look for BC to empty the bench and play seniors that usually don't get PT. They know these are the last 3 games of the year for them.

Maybe we'll get to see some of our young fellas practice.
