Amanda was not coaching for some reason. Maybe she should stay out more often. Tigers played smothering D all night.

Still didn't hear why Amanda Butler wasn't in Winston Salem with the team.I did not listen to the pregame so they might have said why during that time.Nice win on the road, wish they could play like that all the time.

She's in Covid protocol. I watch the girls regularly. It was obvious early on this season there were chemistry problems with this team. I think we know who were the problems and it showed tonight. These remaining players are together and committed to the defensive side of the game.

The only words from anybody were on an ACC network game recently that Gabby Elliott had left the team and the transfer from Syracuse had "retired" from basketball. Don't want to go into details but this didn't surprise me at all. Anybody watching tonight and had watched earlier games could see the difference in the performance and the togetherness of this team. Butler can be faulted for maybe not doing her homework on these players but I like the toughness and commitment to defense of the rest of the players. She has a good recruiting class. If she can hold them and supplement with a couple of compatible transfers, I think she deserves one more year.

I definitely feel she needs another year. Good Lord we have given Brad 12 and what does he have to show except victory over NC at chapel hill and getting in tournament only 25% of time. I believe 2 of those were one and done.

I don't see that. Players have fled the program every year.

Glad for the win but Wake was pretty bad. They scored 2 points in the second quarter. One win tonight doesn't change finishing with likely 8 or 9 wins. Is 3 consecutive losing seasons our standard?

Please post more often on the women's bball. It's like pulling teeth for in depth info. Horry usually does a wonderful job of posting on other sports Clemson stories as well as Skeeta56. Much appreciated.

It was and hopefully on a roll. Especially with the above info. She's got a good class coming in. They have height.

Even with improved play the rest of the year, I would consider 4-7 or 4-8 in their remaining games to be living up to their ability. Hope I'm wrong but a lot of talented teams still left to play.
