If they are going to insist on continuing these large mega conferences with no division, someone needs to require every conference to play at least 9 conference games. At least there were would be one more data point to determine the two best teams in the conference. the remaining three games can be a patsy (FCS), a non-group of 4 team, and one other group of 4 team. That would provide some parity in scheduling, without having a puppet master control everyone's schedule as Herbie suggested.

The conferences are so big, just do 11 conference games
