ACC, SEC, B10 & PAC and American automatic Bids & 3 at-large teams with no more than 2 from any 1 conference. Keep about half of existing bowls

Do away thin Independent schools by mandating the only way to be on PO is to be affiliated to a conference

Want to wager a 20( once coke) that Notre Dame would take this all the way to the Supreme Court to argue their right to remain Independent?
And I wouldn't bet against them.

The Big10 is not interested in OSU, etc.
Baylor, TCU and ISU are the only ones that jump out in regards to fitting their academic standard, however TCU and Baylor are private Christian schools, so they don’t fit. That leaves ISU as likely the only one they would consider.
It’s sad that $ has become the primary driving factor in our collegiate athletics.
On a side note: We better be wary that the BIG10 doesn’t raid the ACC for teams such as UNC, Georgia Tech, and Virginia.

A well-thought-out and logical recommendation. I like it. I doubt it will happen, but I think you did a great job laying out the best solution for the current environment.
