or should I say his players are holding some bags. Wonder how long before they have half the team in the portal?

players leave when the coach leaves. Wouldn't be a surprise at any school.

I think they'll still be in better shape than they were when they hired him.

Before Deion. Having a successful program is worth it even it was only rented.

Ole Flap Jack Pancake might be looking for new home, he was still only 3rd string in colorado. Bentley/Burley ( forget which one, not the pic taker) is probably out of eligibility but he started all yr.

Deion had one of the top QBs and the Heisman trophy winner on his team and didn't make the expanded playoffs. He improved Colorado but outside of his personality he didn't make them relevant. Dallas has always been relevant. Can he coach well enough to get Dallas winning in the post season?

Jerry Jones and Deon Sanders
Well this ought to be reeeaallyyy interesting.. Both owner and coach love to be in spotlight. A power struggle due to owner being a HUGE micromanager. Don't see Sanders putting up with that so---- push back expected. The only things iron sharpening iron will create is sideline 'tude and temper tantrums!. As much as I loathe the Dallas Cowboys, I just might have to tune in to see the sparks fly!!

Prime built a team, not a program.
He is 75% sizzle and 25% steak.
I wouldn’t hire him, but there are plenty of organizations that will hire him knowing or not knowing he is mostly sizzle.

that gave them their only NC title which was shared with GT. So unfair to Bobby Ross and the GT players and fans.
Evidently the down flap wasn't flipped after a second or third down.

Yeah, it was after 2nd down. That was kind of a crazy game. There was something wrong with Mizzou's turf - guys were slipping and falling the whole game, mostly Colorado players. But yes, in the closing moments, Colorado drove inside the Mizzou 5 yard line (the receiver slipped and fell in stride, otherwise would have likely scored) with 1 timeout left. This was the first season the spike was allowed in College Football, so on 1st down, the Colorado QB (it was their backup, their starter was out hurt) spiked the ball to stop the clock. On 2nd down, CO ran it and were stopped short, so they called their last timeout. About that time, a fan in the stands behind the chain gang had a heart attack and the paramedics were called in, and some folks say that distracted the chain gang. But for whatever reason, the down marker was not set to 3rd down. Out of the timeout, they called another running play and were again stopped short. The chain gang then flipped the down marker from 2nd to 3rd down, so CO spiked it again with just a couple seconds on the clock. The final play was a QB keeper that was not only a 5th down, but the QB was stopped short of the goal line, but ruled a TD anyway. This was also before video review, so it was a TD.
Yep, tech got screwed.

Colorado's claim to fame is a fluke just like the head coach now.

If Sanders goes to Dallas, they deserve what they get. He's got an alligator mouth, and the a$$ of a parakeet. And don't forget that Dallas has Prescott. Can you imagine those two clowns on the sideline. Pure comedy gold.

...and how many and which staff he would take with him to Dallas.
Their DC, Robert Livingston, is a young guy, very savvy with recruiting, the portal, and NIL. He is reportedly very popular with the team.
If Prime goes to Dallas, RL would likely get a shot. That would help the Buff's continuity.
