Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career. After meeting those prerequisites, athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.

Brooks, a senior sprinter and hurdler majoring in Communications earned runner up honors at the 2021 ACC Outdoor Championships in the men’s 110mH after running 13.67 seconds in the final. He went on to finish 18th overall at the NCAA Outdoor Championships for the 110mH.

Campbell, a junior hurdler majoring in Communications, was also named to the 2021 All-ACC Academic Indoor Track & Field Team. He finished third overall at the ACC Outdoor Championships in the 110mH, running in 13.85 seconds. He went on to compete at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, where he finished 17th overall in the 110mH.

Jones, a senior middle distance runner majoring in Athletic Leadership, set the ACC Outdoor Championships meet record and Clemson all-time record in the 800m after crossing the finish line in 1:45.47. With his historic performance, Jones also became the first Tiger to ever run a sub-1:46 half mile. Jones went on to earn Second Team All-America honors after finishing 11th overall at the national championship.

Roberts, a junior hurdler earned First Team All-America honors at the NCAA Outdoor Championships by running a 13.65 in the 100mH. He was also a member of the Tigers’ 4x100m relay team that earned All-American honors.

Barton, a senior middle distance runner majoring in Health Science, won the ACC Outdoor 800m title with a time of 2:00.70. She went on to finish as the national runner up in the 800m at the 2021 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Barton was also the indoor 800m national runner up.

Carter, a freshman hurdler majoring in Health Science, earned Second Team All-ACC honors after finishing sixth in the 400mH at the ACC Outdoor Championships. Carter qualified for NCAA East Prelims in the event, where she clocked a personal-best 59.10.

Disher, a freshman middle distance runner majoring in Pre-Business, earned Second Team All-ACC honors in the 800m after finishing fifth in the finals at the ACC Outdoor Championships.

Foster, a senior Communications major, earned First Team All-ACC honors in the 400mH and Second Team All-ACC honors in the 4x400m. She earned bronze in the event after achieving a personal-best 57.55 in the women’s 400mH final.

Fraley, a sophomore Health Science major, scored in both the shot put and discus at ACC Championships. She earned First Team All-ACC honors in the shot put after finishing in third and Second Team All-ACC in the discus placing fifth. Fraley went on to become just the second women’s thrower in program history to qualify for both the outdoor shot put and discus in the same year. Fraley set a personal-best 16.59m in the shot put to punch her ticket to the national championship. She also earned Second Team All-America honors in the discus. Most recently, Fraley set the school record (56.73) in the discus at the 2021 U.S. Olympic Trials, where she finished 10th overall.

Hemmings, a junior sprinter and hurdler majoring in Communications, solidified her name in the Clemson record book at No. 4 all-time in the 100mH after running 12.94 in finals at NCAA East Prelims. Hemmings also anchored the women’s 4x100m relay at East Prelims, which placed seventh overall to punch its ticket to the national championship meet.

Smith, a senior sprinter majoring in Psychology, becomes just the eight women’s student-athlete in program history to earn at least three All-ACC Academic distinctions in outdoor competition. Thursday’s announcement also marked Smith’s seventh career All-ACC Academic recognition, which ties Grace Barnett’s program record between indoor and outdoor competition. Smith accounted for 7.25 of Clemson’s 69 points scored at ACC Outdoor Championships after scoring in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m. Smith earned Second Team All-ACC honors in the 100m, finished seventh in the 200m and guided Clemson to a fourth-place finish in the 4x100m relay. Smith is also just the second woman in Clemson’s history to qualify for the NCAA Championships in the 4x100m relay in each of her four years competing outdoors.

White, a senior jumper majoring in Nursing/Psychology, set an all-conditions best in the triple jump at ACC Championship after flying for 13.37m (2.3w) to place fourth overall, earning Second Team All-ACC in the process. After a 10th-place finish at NCAA East Prelims, White punched her ticket to the national championship meet for the first time of her career.

The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
