Before my home burned had a solid store of extra food, etc, etc, etc.

Even living in my tent, ordered in some extra as I feel a need to take of the Bride.
I now add to that.

The grid may crash, The Nuke plant near Clemson may blow. Not long ago the USA ran short of toilet paper (but not me).
Maybe I will just become too old to make it to the store and be glad I have an extra can of beans or an extra beer.

Today got in another hundred rounds of:

Water is the big deal most don't consider.
Had a 500 gallon tank, now just some filters.
The possibility of me running out of water does not exist as I live on the Tugaloo River.

I really like the Hornady Plus P ammo, so IMO you made a great choice of ammo!!!

Have you tried the the Underwood ammo? Super and sub sonic rounds. Underwood bought out what used to be Lehigh which made ammo for the government, look them up on line and check them out. Most of the rounds are lead free and have 18" of penetration power.

I tell all my friends the same thing; government contract crap is crap. It’s done by the lowest bidder. Not exactly the quality you want. I NEVER go milspec. I always go aftermarket upgraded. Hornady is a prime example. They have the best ballistics on the planet. Granted, dead is dead. But, Hornady munitions give you the best chance for success. Every caliber of gun in my house has Hornady personal defense rounds in the magazine. Except my KSG 12 gauge pump with dual magazine tubes. It has Aguilla micro shells because I can pack in 13 slugs with 12 buckshot rounds and it cycles them perfectly. Personal Defense is priority one and I don’t trust ball ammunition to do the job.

We are in Nuke here, my power bill last month was $40.

thank you Nuclear power, and not coal which requires 6000 gallons of diesel to transport a 2-day supply to South Florida on a freight train.
