I'm not sure why now and not after the season, but he's only hit .208 over his career in the minors and is 27 years old. MLB clubs need production or it is next man up. Hate it for him, but that's just the reality. Wish him the best in his future endeavors.

At least he got the call up and got 2 mlb hits for the Reds in June!
