Yep. I don't see where he's any less entitled to an opinion than those who promote homosexuality. Might not make him very popular in San Fran, though....

Stupid political correctness....

Nothing in that statement suggested that he considered homosexuality immoral, inferior or anything bad. All he was saying was a reflection of how heterosexual men think about it... it's not awesome to look at or be around. I'm pro gay marriage, and happily maintain friendships with gay people but I sure as hell don't want to see dudes being intimate with one another and especially don't want to see any gay flirtation in the dang lockerroom. Again, that's not a moral statement, that's just a comfort statement.
Anybody who gets bent out of shape over it is a dumb@ss.

with each other; apparently he doesn't want them in there period. There is a difference between not wanting to see guys being intimate or flirting in the locker room, or just not wanting them in there period, even if they are behaving appropriately and minding their own business.
Anybody who has ever played team sports or gone to a gym has been in the locker room with gay guys. Just saying.
I'm not bent out of shape about it, but his statements are clearly homophobic and it sounds to me like he has a problem with gays in general.

This little thing called context makes it impossible for us to know for sure what he meant. People misspeak all the time. We can't possibly know for sure if he was thinking the same thing we were thinking when he chose the specific words he did.
I doubt he thought it would be ok to announce his dislike for homosexuals as part of a Super Bowl media day. Just think about that.
Human nature drives some people to look for something to whine about, even if there is no proof such whining is justified. It's a meaningless statement until lamo's try to turn it into a problem.

The majority around here have nothing to worry about when it comes to gay men chasing after them.
Clemson has a lot of beautiful women but the men that follow Clemson is another story.

yet to hear the word come from them. It must be a slander word but I've never heard it used by anyone except some condescending jerk that want to make him/herself seem better than others. (like I'm not doing that now)
I imagine there are some militant homosexuals that use the term but the last thing a fellow wants to do if he is wishing acceptance is to insult the person he's trying to influence.
It takes a real dumbazz to do use a slander word toward someone else. Homophobe should go the way of the 'N,' word in my opinion. It just doesn't reconcile folks. But then again that isn't what it's designed to do.
