But yes let's fire Dabo and clean house and deconstruct the entire program while we're at it.
Consult Judge Keller, Pacific Beach Tiger and that "Appeals to Outliers" guy for the answers on how to best pursue these objectives.
I suspect they'll point to Carolina as a model of how to build a program that one day might really have a pretty decent shot at maybe winning enough conference games to secure a possible playoff berth, because they're never going to win the SEC.

Losing to the coots meant nothing to anyone but the fans (and Team). The rest of the country knew it's a rivalry game and all bets are off! Same if GT had beat UGA.

That’s right, we have 1 appearance, for winning the worst power four conference and getting an automatic bid, in an expanded playoff.
Thank goodness for a 12 team playoff and an auto bid. Otherwise we would be in the Cheez-It Bowl or Pop Tart Bowl and be watching the playoffs from home again.
But hey, we are in and that’s great! Now let’s win some games there and start looking like an elite program again. If we beat Texas, it will be our first win over a top 5 team in over four years.

Yes, we would have not made the 4 team playoff. Neither would Boise State, Ohio State, Penn State, Indiana, Tennessee, Arizona State, etc. But we would not have been playing in the Pop Tarts Bowl. We would have been in the Orange Bowl (or the Peach if the Orange was a Semifinal)... likely playing against someone like one of the names above

Even if Texas wins, Clemson still out performed expectations,won the ACC and ten games. That doesn’t mean there isn’t room for improvement there always is, but no need to be disappointed with the season. Make whatever corrections you can in the offseason and next year looks great with the depth and experience that’s coming back!
