Cool. They honor the NFL's suspension. But still the NFL should be ashamed of the way they handled this. They reacted to the publics reaction and that is why they finally did something. The Ravens should also be ashamed. Did ya see how on their web site for the past 7 months they had the tweet from Jenay on the front page saying how she was to blame. And who are these morons in Baltimore who applauded Rice when he took the practice field during fall camp. Jeez....

This whole ordeal will mar anything Goodell ever does. It defines his legacy. Let me get this right...
Weed/ Amphetamine= 6 game sususpension
DUI= 4 games
PEDs= possible year long
Hit a woman= 2 games (now 6, unless public outrage)
Vehicular manslaughter killing a teammate= 1 year (Josh Brent)
Wow. What a joke.

What am I missing with the Ray Rice deal? I felt like I saw the tape when it first came out --- was what I was watching then only a shortened version of what has recently been released?

My first memory of Gaffney isn't a fond one. When I was in the 8th grade and traveling with the varsity baseball team to some Spring Break tournament, the coaches started me on the mound against Gaffney. I don't know if you remember Justin Surrat, but they had him and a couple of other college prospects who proceeded to tee off on me to the tune of 10 runs in the first 2 innings.
I got the taste slapped outta my mouth that day.

fiancee out of the elevator. It didn't show what happened inside the elevator. I think it was always pretty obvious what happened, but apparently actually seeing it and removing all doubt is a powerful thing.
