Likeit or not we earned our spot in the ACCCG….. true fans want the team to go as far as they can and be successful…. When the season is over, there will be plenty of time to armchair QB and coach, and criticize the team.
But dang it, during the season let’s cheer for our guys and hope they go as far as they can….. when teh season is over, like every year, all of those smarter than the AD and coaches can give their free advice and opinions….
Common Tiger nation, let’s cheer for our guys, give them support and see what happens on game day. Never stop fighting until you are 100% out….

I with you! The philosophy that tbe game yesterday was just a loss burns me up. Dabo and Beamer's man love for each other is part of the problem. This Clemson program has taken on tbe softness of tbe staff. No nasty, no mean, and therfore no high level success. This looks a lot like the Bowden days. (Except Tommy owned tbe coots). We are going to battle with 60 or 70 choir boys meanwhile our opposition has players that will bleed for their programs. Sick of accepting the Dabo way. Count me out of rally group for this season. Please let it end!!

If it’s between beating coots or backing into to a crappy acc champ game, I would take beating the coots all day. Not to mention no matter what we do next they have bragging rights for the next 365 days. Thanks dabo you failed again miserably!

I never said anything about being happy yesterday, of course I want to crush the coots, and I was disappointed with teh result. Lots of blown opportunity, but all im saying in, thats yesterday, and we have another chance now, and as a fan thats what we want, a chance to get in the big dance….. CHeer for your team, until they are out and teh season is over, then opine away….

Everyone was cheering yesterday. It was a great crowd. Our fans show up when it counts. But 5 years of frustration is getting harder to accept, and sometimes you just have to vent so you can go into the game, as a fan, with a batter mindset, and cheer your heart out.

When the championship comes with an automatic playoff bid thats not valid. No one cried about nc state winning the acc tournament, stealing a bid and then ending up in a final four. Same principle

Unfortunately you always hear from the Sunday morning coaches who get most of their self worth from a football team. I was not upset with yesterday. As a Clemson fan and a fan of college football yesterday was an exciting, hard fought game that came down to a fluke pass tip that didn't go our way. If that wouldn't have happened, I'm quite sure we would have scored and won the game.
9-3 is a good season. I had a lot of fun watching the tigers, went to a few games, and just generally enjoyed a life that doesn't revolve around if my team wins or loses. The college game is now about $$$$ and I am glad we have 2 national championships when it was not about who could build the best team of mercenaries. Unfortunately, we don't have any billionaires that love Clemson and will put up the dollars to buy players. So until the NCAA reigns in this madness I'm not sure we can compete for talent like we did in the past.
I'm happy to play SMU for a chance at another ACC championship and fully trust Dabo in his leadership of the team.

Completely agree with Tiger Alum 1990. For all of you who are unhappy who are you going to replace Dabo with? The coaches from Alabama, Ohio State, Miami? Football is changing and as was said, We don't have billionaire donors like Oregon with Phil Knight. Let see what happens in the next few years and until then enjoy what we have and support the team.

I was pretty much with you up until your last statement. I love Dabo but I do not trust him to make the changes needed to address our deficits because I have seen little movement in that area. The reality is when he lost his braintrust of Jeff, Tony and BV (and even Chad before that), he has struggled to maintain our position among the elite. We are still a good program but certainly not anywhere near where we used to be. Poor coaching hires, poor roster management, lack of innovation in our playbook, no adoption of all the resources available to build the best talent, etc, have all contributed to our decline.
I know the man has the ability to address it all. I just don't know if he has the will to do it. I remain hopeful this offseason we see that will come forward.

Good post. If you only like a team when they win, good luck finding a team to pull for. Winning every game is unrealistic. Perfect play is unrealistic. Perfect coaching is unrealistic. Programs that win most of the time are successful programs. The roots of the program are good and that will bear good fruit again. That is a lot to be thankful for. Go Tigers, beat the Mustangs.

are not as good as most Clemson fans think we are. It doesn't make me angry or sad or frustrated. It's literally just having a different opinion. You overly positive people act like you are going to fall off a cliff if you start thinking Clemson may not have as good of a football program as you want to believe. You can still live a normal happy life not being delusional about sports. I promise.

Bro, I get it…. And agree…. But when you are 9-3, going to the ACCCG, with a chance to go to playoffs…. Let’s be appreciative and supportive, right? Maybe they aren’t dominating, maybe they will get killed, maybe they aren’t as good as some want, but hey, we are still in it…. I dont understand why some people want them to fail or just say how bad we are or how poor of a coach Dabo is etc…. How many teams would love to be where we are now? Anyway, once the season is done there will be plenty of time to criticize, analyze etc….
Im not a sunshine pumper, but I am a CLemson supporter, lets see where things end up, and then we can all opine…

I am more supportive than the vast majority of optimists on this message board.
I have never booed Clemson a single time in my life.
Believing we are about to be beaten handily will not prevent me from cheering for Clemson.

No,,because so many on here are greedy crybabies who are living in the past with our championships. They dwell on negativity and never have optimism. They think they know how to coach and call anyone who disagrees with them a coot.A coot isn't even a chicken,so that's a step in proving their stupidity.I read their stuff and feel like I'm in fourth grade again. The new age can never be satisfied.Clemson isn't a top ten team,so don't expect top ten results.
