SMU has to lose twice! Both SMU and Miami beat Louisville. Thus, they win the Tiebreak.

enable Clemson to reach a goal. I don't expect it because you can't go through life hoping others fail to find your success. It's no way to live but I'll take it if it happens.

I'm not pulling for anyone win other than Clemson. I'm old so that's etched in my soul.

Point is we could have handled our business and been there. This hoping someone helps us returns us to the Bowden-esque era of wildy inconsistent football.

Best thing this team can do now is try to win the remaining games. The ACC championship is not happening for the Tigers this year. They better be concerned about what is left on the schedule. The Citadel is a gimme, but the rest are a little scary unfortunately. Just, at least somehow beat the Dirtpeckers!!

Also, when I wrote that, I didn’t give my opinion of Miami. I knew they would lose, I knew it all year.

But I am holding my tongue. Too superstitious to keep going on with predictions.
