their starting guard Keels is still hurt and didn't play in win over Syracuse Saturday. How well the Tigers shoot 3s will be a big factor. Hopefully Tyson is back close to 100 percent will also be a factor. Defense needs to continue to play well. Last season they got blown out with no fans in Cameron. How much better will they play with all the Crazies back?
Yeah, on the road with any opponent is not going to be good. Heck, except last year, looking at a "good" Duke team they only drop one home game per season - yikes. So nearly every team will have a similar record going back 10 years or so. Heck, they were ranked 1st, 4th, 11th, 4th,and 1st, and 4th. (I think I got the years right). I think last year was the first time since 2011 that they lost multiple games at home. Heck only the most elite teams can win consistently on the road and - even duke falters when traveling.
Since that same time, we are 3-2 at home with them,
12 #8 73–66 Duke 14 #16 59–72 Clemson 16 #9 63–68 Clemson 18 #12 66–57 Duke (that one hurt, we were ranked 11th) 20 #3 72–79 Clemson
But then on you point, we have a chance. However, they already dropped one at home to a surprisingly good miami team.
"When I was young, I was sure of many things; now there are only two things of which I am sure: one is, that I am a miserable sinner; and the other, that Christ is an all-sufficient Saviour. He is well-taught who learns these two lessons." -John Newton
Brad usually does not do well on the road. In my opinion, he does not supply the backbone his players need to see to have the confidence they need on the road. Usually translates into poor shooting. However I’m hoping we defeat rat face in his own barn. We owe him one for buying off Zion.
