Cade and Mafah numbers vs Georgia

IMO if Cade doesn’t throw for at least 300+ and Mafah doesn’t carry it 15+ times and for at least 125 yards we don’t win. What do y’all think. Ready for all the talk to be over!
Go Tigers!

Win the turnover margin, make your fgs, win the game.
That's what I'm thinking. A dirty nasty defensive slugfest. Have a hard time seeing the Clemson OL taking on one of the best front 7s in the nation week 1 and winning more than losing.

Very good points. It’s going to be difficult but I still think we’ve got to score at least 21+ to win.

No-one is mentioning we cannot miss any field goals in this game. Not familiar with UGA 's field goal kicker but they cannot miss any either because it is probably coming down to a missed field goal or two.

425 yards against the Georgia defense seems a bit unlikely. I would think

about 200 yards passing and 125 rushing yards should do the trick. I don't see Georgia running for 100 yards or scoring a lot of points against our defense.

Wow, honestly I don't understand how could you come up with the numbers that just two players has to have for us to beat UGA when the UGA defense beat us the last time we played, and the very same thing could happen again with it going our way this time around. Our D could possibly score 2 or 3 times and if that happens that would mean that our D was having their way with the UGA offense that would mean our chances are even greater of winning the game. Triple honesty, the best way of knowing the winner would be to watch the game, or just wait until the sports news come on that night and they will tell who won.
Saying that Cade has to throw for so many yards, or Mafah has to carry the ball so many times for us to win just isn't very good maff to predict a winner. I mean what if Klubnik threw for 400 yards, Mafah ran the ball 27 times, and each receiver that enters the game catches 1 pass each, who wins the game???

Lmao you high? Neither one of those will happen, but we still can win with 200 yards passing and 100 yards rushing if we win the turnover battle.

If Cade takes what the defense gives him and lets his play makers make plays and mafah gets 15+ carries win the turnover margin it will be a close game but I have the good guys in this one when this happens. Good guys 31 leg humping butt sniffers 17. I hat me a drunk obnoxious Georgia fan because there is nothing finer than a Tiger fan! We are the most knowledgeable and fun fan base in the country especially when I look through my orange colored glasses.

It is going to take our defense getting a couple of turnovers and playing mistake-free on offense, then hope we can eek it out in the 4th quarter. I see this as a low scoring game if we can run the ball some and keep their offense off the field, but again we have as much depth at Dline as our National title teams that rarely had more than 2 TDs scored on them.
i do nto see Cade throwing for 300 against UGA, and I am not sure many teams have been able to effectively run on Georgia.
But you make a good point, When UGA has lost the last few years, it is because they were lit up by the opposing team QB, and that was rare.

UGA will be the most balanced team we face all year. I’m thinking they will have more success against our defense than many expect. Even during the playoff run, our defense rarely held balanced extremely talented offenses to less than 28. It’ll take at 30 points to win this game along with winning special teams and the turnover battle to even the 2 teams as UGA is very similar to what Clemson was 6 years ago and we are obviously missing the offensive skill guys we once had.

We won't need 450 yards to win, but it would be nice. I'll settle for 200 passing and 100 rushing with zero turnovers. With our defense, 21 points likely wins.

Cade will likely not throw for 300 because that is a huge number and Mahfa will likely not get 125 because this is Georgia we are playing. Turnovers and kicking will win the game and kicking scares me unless we have a kicker that can make a FG. If we can win the turnover and field position game, we can be in the game late and that is where the kicking comes in.

Honestly I don’t expect much from Mafah against GA. If they are as good as they have been the past three years, running on them won’t be easy. Teams that did well against them threw it. Cade needs to see the field well and be able to take the top off with some deep shots. We will not win with 5-10 yard passes. Have to have chunk plays.
Our D needs to keep UGA to 17 or less. Hope to win like 21 or 24 to 17.
