about our rankings, the impact of our 2 3 star commits trickled over to the composite rankings and we moved from 25 to 22. Looking at the point totals, a single 3 star will likely put us in the 16-17 range. If we cleanup with those remaining we should finish top 10

rankings...and concern myself with our product on the field.
For me at least it helps to keep the old noggin a little, less cluttered.

all one has to do is go back to the past classes on the 247 site- they make it easy just to change the year -- look through an scroll the past names. Look at all the ones that you'd say underperformed their star levels, which ones left before contributing, which ones over performed. It's amazing. There are only a handful of superstars in each glass - the rest, you are looking for the glue/fabric and hope they stick around 4-5 years and contribute. And when you think about all that have left, you can multiply that # by 2, 3 or 4 for almost any other program in the Top 25 as our retention rate is a lot better than almost all of them.

True, but which one are you going to use. Last week we were bragging that this ranking didn't matter because the real rank was per player rank.
In this, Miami is 35th but they've overtaken us in ppr. We're down to 9th in ppr.
Glad we're at least getting some bodies in here. Brent has picked up 2 recent corner portal recruits, not sure why we're not trying to pick one up. We have corner talent coming in but we need experience this year.

I know we need bodies but avg star rating per recruit is huge imo. A few 3 stars are good for the team in my opinion. They may have a little more in the tank as far as trying to prove themselves. Either way things seem to be trending in the right direction.

played a good bit, two high 4 star freshmen incoming and now a 3 star also incoming.
I don't see a desperate need there
