ESPN has a article about Indianas potential coaching candidates, they list 20 coaches, Brownell not in that 20.

Why would he be...he is our coach and not looking for
brown pastures. He is in a green pasture in Tiger Town.
He has done as well or better than any Basketball coach
at Clemson. I'm not a big time Basketball fan but I do
pull for the Tigers in every sport.

You will never live to see anyone win as many games as Brad has won at Clemson so yeah, that pretty much makes him a legend.
