I've seen a lot of fingers pointed at Coach Godwin after the Louisville game.
Some are deserved but I think you should lay more blame on the offense, and ultimately the Head Coach (who already accepted fault).
*Spoiler: I'm a huge Dabo fan*
The defense got put in some tough positions and struggled to get off the field. 3rd and long went from an automatic stop and punt to a long play and ultimately to 3 - 6/7 points for LVL.
On the flip side: the offense looked like they were just going to win. Like in showing up they had this in the bag. Like a Varsity basketball player playing on the Freshmen team.
How embarrassing - not sure if it was totally Riley's calls or if CK2 was checking down on some of those plays but it was rough! Receivers dropping balls... Just as soon as we catch momentum we can't score.
But then theirs the head coach: middle of the 1st or 2nd when the Lvl player was hurt he waltzes out there to chat with Brohm. One could say that's pretty gentlemanly. One could also say that cocky as it gets and that we're trying to Lil Bro them.
Then the decision to take it slow and not press the field at the end of the 2nd.
The whole 3rd quarter.

There's an old John Prine song, "Your American Flag Decal Won't Get You Into Heaven Anymore" that feels apt.
Your Nattys won't help you beat Duke, Louisville, and South Carolina anymore.
