I think he'd do well there. College fb recruiting and roster management is rapidly moving toward an NFL type of model, which he knows. They have cash if they will use it. And Stanford now has a GM in place, which would relieve the HC of all these additional concerns.

Why would you think he'd do particularly well? The dude is a dog #### coach. He had some very good QBs in his time and talented rosters, but was utterly incapable of winning anything without the GOAT playing for him.
In 19 seasons with Brady healthy and playing the full season, he had a 77% winning percentage, 17 division titles, and 6 super bowls. In 12 seasons without Brady, he had a 44% winning percentage, never won the division, and went to the playoffs as a wildcard once and lost badly. And it's not like he had terrible QBs: Testaverde, Cassel, Bledsoe, Newton, and Garropolo were all fine to very good QBs. He was just an incompetent NFL coach who struck lightning with a player who made anyone look unstoppable.
That's not even considering the fact that literally everyone who knows him says he's an insufferable #######. He had one of the highest attrition rates in NFL history, and that was with the Patriots paying better than most teams (because Brady was happy to take a smaller salary in order to win) and dominating year in and year out. The only reason he didn't have an even higher attrition is he could sign contracts locking players in. How do you think college players who can transfer away instantly will work?
I see no way he achieves great sustained success in college. Donors will hate him. Players will hate him. He has 0 experience in recruiting. And his success is a sham. I think it's very telling that the other day, Brady, Edelman, and Gronk were all mocking the idea of Belichick coaching college and agreeing he'd be a bad college coach.

I agree, Belichick would be a great hire for what he did at New England and could pull some good players in the portal at key positions.
I think the hardest thing coaches have to deal with is recruiting and using NIL, but he would just have to hire the right people to do that for him.

He is accepting to get his son HC and a big payday. NC AD stupidity goes on.

If I hired him, he’d have to accept my four word organizational chart text message.
“You answer to me”.

UNC needs to walk away from this. There are way too many demands and most of it is revolved around money.

I want to see it for 2 reasons.
1. Can he prove that he’s the genius that he thinks he is. 2. Can he prove that he’s not the genius that he thinks he is.
I see a large potential for laughter.

He'll be 73 at kickoff. Doesn't make sense to me.

UNC would be nuts to go along with this plan. He has no idea what he is getting into. College players and NFL players are at different stages. He is used to working with guys in their 20s and 30s…..not 18, 19 year olds. Plus his age is an issue.

It’s his winning personality. He probably won’t associate with the players. Can you imagine him in a home.

So, it's all about getting his son a job? That’s what I thought when I first heard his name mentioned.

But does his 24-year-old GF approve of his plan?

Either way, if I were UNC, I'd politely suggest Mr. Belichick first fashion his 400-page manifesto into a conical shape before taking a seat upon it.
