Look I know it’s only the 3rd game & you got to figure things out, but being run ruled is embarrassing. I don’t care who you are playing. It was a weird managed game. A lot of pitchers with little or no experience in high pressure situations. You would think that midweek games would be where you would try that not in a weekend series? Maybe, coach just wanted to see how they would perform in a big game environment. All the pitchers except McGovern failed miserably. At least how they should know better what they got pitching wise. I also understand that they are some pitchers we are counting on this year that are banged up so maybe that played into it as well. Still good start.

Over dramatic. I didn’t say the world was ending just didn’t understand some of the decisions made today is all. And I stand by it being run ruled is embarrassing but not the end of the world. You people have no nuance when someone questions anything. It’s one extreme to another.

You answered all your own questions in the post. Injuries and Bakich wanted to see what other pitchers we have that can help (based on today maybe none of them.) It’ll be fine, the sky isn’t falling.

I understand that I just question the timing. Midweek games is usually where you evaluate players. If they do well then you try them in higher pressure situations.

Nothing wrong with asking questions. I’d rather lose 18-2 to Kennesaw State than to any SEC team. We must perform better against that conference. I’m tired of it and I’m sure others are too. It might be one game, and I hope it is, but I do not want the Tigers to be eliminated to those goons later in the NCAA tournament!
