Baseball is being ruined by replay review

Now it’s not just sour grapes on the Blackwell review last night, but it really seems to bail out terrible officiating if they look at everything of consequence during a baseball game. Baseball is an imperfect game and the human element is something that make it special and unique.

If you’re gonna allow challenges to nearly every play under the sun, might as well just have a computer call balls and strikes behind the plate bc umps surely love messing that up.

There needs to be an adjustment to the rule like limiting the number of challenges that each team gets, and officials must be held accountable to do a good enough job to actually get the calls right the first time.

Need to install the time clock as well. The guys AND gals college level games seem endless in time now. Adjusting gloves and armor, checking the 1st base runner 4 or 5 times it’s just ridiculous! No game should take five hours particularly in college.

Umpire crew was not top shelf last night. Especially the ejection. So bush league.
