It was a historical upset for sure. But a couple of things stood out to me outside of Vandy beating Bama.
1. at the end of the game, when Bama and everyone else knew that Vandy was going to run the ball, Vandy still successfully ran the ball for first downs to ice the game. Unbelievable that anyone could run the ball on Bama for first downs to end the game but for Vandy to do that??? WOW
2. Nobody likes to lose, but Malachi Moore #13 showed an incredible lack of class at the end. Vandy Qb runs for a first down to put a dagger in Bama and Moore pushes the qb's head into the turf by his facemask. (no flag??) Then, the ref spots the ball for the last snap and Moore walks over and kicks the ball off of its spot.
What a pathetic baby/punk/etc.
Moore said he was sorry after the game and DeBoer said he has handled it and will move on.
Tolerating this behavior will only insure that we will see more of it.

Yep. And coach came out on the field and tried to sub him out but he refused to leave the field. Sorriest display I’ve ever seen. Can you imagine if he did that to Saban or even Dabo?

Saban would've had homeboy running gassers til he puked...

Gassers are full 100 yard sprints...

I read Moore's "apology" on X....couldn't help but notice...

that he didn't apologize to Vandy's QB. Maybe he said so elsewhere or did so personally, but it seems to me that the guy who had his head shoved into the turf might should get at least an acknowledgement.
I think he did get flagged for it. But just a poor look for Bama.

this truly is a new era in college football not only with NIL and portal, but even for the big teams like Bama and Georgia it's tough to keep guys together, kids are more fickle and ready to change on a dime now, just how society is.

Bama's new coach is a good one, prob better offensive mind than Saban, but having said that SEC teams were humiliated for 15 years by Bama there will be no mercy, Also i just dont think average teams respect Bamas defense, and they may be correct.

I was glad to see Vandy stay aggressive getting those first downs on that final drive. I think we all expected them to run three dive plays for 3 yards, punt and then Alabama would drive down and score for the win. However Vandys coaches, to their credit, went off ###### and actually forced the putrid Alabama defense to defend real plays, which it failed miserably to do. Good for them. How many times have we seen the underdog basically play not to lose in that situation by going conservative and it seems like they always lose.
