somebody told me to put parchment paper on top of the aluminum foil. I scoffed at them. Silly me. I hereby sincerely apologize and guarantee you will receive a TU on every post.  ">
Yes, you do lose some of the precious bacon grease, but it is the "cat's meow" or the "####" for the lingers.

But that all changed a month or two ago with the procurement of the Blackstone. Now, the bacon grease is the baselayer for everything else that's about to be cooked.

I just suggested the parchment paper. I bareback that directly onto the pan (no aluminum foil).
Works great and you can still save the grease. Glad you enjoyed this method.
