The following is from their recruiting thread. Kind of funny.



Why don't you guys go start a separate thread called "UNC's Dismal Football Before HOF Coach Mack Brown Arrived?" Not sure we need to remind recruits cruising this thread for tidbits on UNC recruiting from our fans just how bad we sucked before MB 2.0. I am sure the Clemson coaches are more than happy to remind them for us.

A championship program like Clemson doesn’t have to trash a program like ours when all they have to do is show recruits their trophy case.

the facilities - the surrounding area - etc - etc...... as I told a Georgia fan and his daughter (who was trying to decide between attending Clemson or Georgia) who came to the Dawgs' last game here, "There's nothing bad about this place". Told her to just base her decision on who won the game that afternoon - and Clemson won.

I actually saw that posting on Tar Pit. Mack and Dabo are close friends and I don’t believe Clemson trashed Coach Brown or the program. Coaches give their sales pitch as to why their program is a better fit and that’s fair game.

making the decision that is best for themselves and their families before committing. That alone earns respect and trust that they don't see from other places that use high pressure or negative tactics.

That’s pretty good recruiting practice. It makes sense for the recruit to have full confidence and peace in his decision especially in this day of the crazy transfer portal.
