Makes you wonder the quality of development happening. Only outside the “Dabo” family guys are Caldwell, Venables, Reed, Bates (from a FCS school). Are these just pretty much all yes men without the experience that many top schools have? Bama over there hiring ex nfl and head coaches each year. Watson, Trevor Lawrence, that power ranger DL and ETN cover up a lot of flaws in coaching

CJ Spiller- played at Clemson and first time coach
Tony Elliot-was a walk in player at Clemson
Tyler Grisham-played at Clemson (prior coaching experience?)
Brandon Streeter-played at Clemson
Mickey Conn-Dabo’s teammate and former high school coach
Lemanski Hall-another former Bama guy ans high school coach

the problem is not the defensive play, it is all the offense. Just poor in every area. Now Shippley might be out and we are down to Pace, Reacher, Dukes, Mafah. Would be nice to have Dixon back.
