This is a great idea by the PGA Tour. No longer do they have Q school to get a card for PGA Tour. You have to go through Korn Ferry tour and earn a card there.

PGA set up a rule that actually encourages kids to stay in school. In order to be eligible for Tour U benefits a player must either be a senior in college or graduate (in 3 years).

(Jon Pak, FSU, will get one of the five automatic cards to Korn Ferry.)

In addition to that, the five guys will get to play in every Korn Ferry event for the rest of the year. If they earn enough money they can qualify for the Korn Ferry Finals and attempt to earn a PGA card this Fall.
